The Datacentience delta T is a close coupled cooling unit designed to meet today’s datacenter needs for reduced power consumption, more effective cooling and truly scalable installations.The delta T slides into any computer rack, just like a server. Facilities can be upgraded and cooling capacity can be increased without disruption to the computer room.

The delta T has been designed for cooling efficiency and low operating cost. It has half the waterside pressure drop and a fourfold reduction in fan power compared with alternatives. Its intelligent design can improve energy consumption by 50% for the same cooling performance and in northern climates the delta T can reduce chiller running cost by 75%. Placing the units in the patented semi-recessed position further improves energy efficiency by up to 35%

The delta T is easy to install and operate. It eliminates the need for a raised floor and the associated structural complexity and cost. Its rack-based architecture is easily enclosed for tight thermal control of server space. Even single rows can be isolated with the unique “air curtain”. The fundamental efficiency and thermal predictability of the delta T approach also delivers failsafe redundancy with fewer cooling units than traditional cooling designs.
