The Datacentience delta-T builds on decades of experience in cooling but, rather than modifying traditional engineering to cope with escalating heat loads and densities, our engineers went back to the drawing board. We saw that cooling was frequently a bottleneck in datacenter scalability and optimisation, so created a solution that is as modular as modern servers themselves - In Rack Cooling.
Delta-T close coupled cooling removes heat at source instead of distributing cold air in an attempt to cool the room. It addresses the root cause of computer room cooling problems and removes air distribution as a datacenter design constraint.
Available in chilled water or refrigerant versions, the delta-T is available in capacities ranging from 10kW to 50kW. It offers the most flexible and cost effective cooling available for the modern datacenter. With a coefficient of performance above 50, it has a power consumption up to 80% below typical computer room air conditioning and offers free cooling opportunities for 9 months of the year.
